Ten

In an interview with his live-in partner and first male relationship, an African American and former soldier is forced to come to terms with the conflict between his Christian faith and homosexuality. This struggle is exacerbated by the feigned acceptance of his Christian mother which displays itself in increasingly overt ways; this, along with her pending visit and in-person introduction to his boyfriend, propels him into a crisis out of which he sees no escape.
