Romel grew up in Lake Arrowhead, CA filling her free time film, art, and literature. Romel’s filmmaking focuses on the human condition and human connections. In her directional debut “Ten”, Romel writes and directs a beautiful story at the intersection of sexuality and religion.
While aspects of Shom and Michael's story are a common, the less explored conflict they deal with is the feigned acceptance of a loved one of their sexual orientation. This film offers audiences a glimpse into the impact of the feigned acceptance on all involved.
